IMPORTANCE OF FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE IN WOMEN LIFE

Why financial freedom is important for women? This question might seem strange, even of no use in today's era to many people.

why does anyone work ?is it only to become rich ?

for money ? yes , it is an important factor but not the one and only sole purpose,Financial freedom is a huge component of why anyone works.

We have this a lot of time that when a Woman work ,not only do they become financially independent ,but they have a huge influence on the larger society and nation.

The UN is leading efforts to give women more access to digital financial tools, seen as essential to playing a full part in the global economy. But then too not only are women less likely to own  or have access to digital tools and money, they are less likely to have permission to use and control them. "GATEKEEPERS" who can be fathers, brothers, mothers-in-law or other members of society ,do not believe that women should even have access to a phone or a bank account. There are many women who are dependent on the husband for their basic financial needs. even there are many cases where even though being in a abusive marital relationship women don't take any step due to lack of financial  independency just housewives, even working women do not have the financial independence as they end up giving their salaries to gatekeepers(as mentioned above)

A report titled 'Women and Money' published by the Gates Foundation, quotes a woman named Indira from India .She says, "If I need money, I would ask my family, but I'm hardly able to give if they need it." 

Thus it is extremely  important for women-be it married, single, separated, widowed or divorced to be financially independent. Also Women have a lot of inherent qualities that makes them better fund managers such as discipline ,objectivity and eye for details . Women are naturally better at budgeting and allocation of resources .this naturalness is their 'SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE'. In conclusion, to regain a position in society ,to establish reputation, to secure future, it is must to be financially independent for women
